Programme objectives

  • To understand the difference between facilitating and directing

  • To fully understand the role of a facilitator and what is expected of one

  • To become fully conversant with an array of models and frameworks to help you achieve yours, and the group’s objective

  • To walk away with a selection of tools and processes that can be applied depending on the task in hand

  • To discover some techniques for dealing with challenging situations

  • To learn how to deal with challenging individuals

  • To have the opportunity to practise all the skills learned in X 2 videoed sessions, and receive quality feedback from your audience



This workshop will develop your facilitation skills, to reach an optimal performance from a group in a meeting, even when behaviours and situations are challenging. You would also learn the skills and the confidence to use creative and innovative approaches. Finally, we will solve the common mistake of mixing between facilitating and directing.
